Teen Parent

The Youth Parent Program (YPP) is a continuous, school-based, community link program for expectant and parenting teens and their children.  Participation in the program is voluntary and free of charge.  The Youth Parent Program’s goals are to assist ALL expectant and parenting students to earn their high school diploma and strive to eliminate the repeated pregnancy rate, while promoting self-sufficiency.  Services available include childcare, outreach activities, case management services, prenatal and parenting education, career education, academic support, meal supplements for pregnant and breastfeeding students, school to home transportation, peer support groups and referrals.
