Student Enrichment Activities
A vital part of Gateway are our student enrichment activities. These activities provide opportunities for student to participate in various Co-Curricular activities throughout the school year.
These activities include participation in athletic competition events such as Mushball, Volleyball, Cross Country and Basketball just to name a few. Gateway students, who are eligible to participate, compete against other Alternative/Continuation from the area.
Other student enrichment activities include field trips to parks and other local areas of interest. Students will travel to places such as Kings Canyon, Sequoia National Forest and McKenzie Preserve. During the trips, students are provided with the opportunity explore these picturesque locations and experience a little of what the Central Valley has to offer.
Another aspect of our student enrichment activities includes our access to local conventions and summits provided by the school district and our community. Students are provided with opportunities to attend conferences at our local comprehensive sites that teach and discuss the various cultures represented in our Clovis community. Other conferences in the area offered center around career and technology opportunities for our students after high school.
